Madhu BalaKrishnan is an Indian Playback Singer who is a singer in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. In southern India region BalaKrishnan is well known for his voice and singing talent. He took birth in the year of 24 June, 1974 at cochin. He started learning music from his childhood days and later on came to Chennai to master in music from the Academy of Music and Arts, Chennai. He has participated in many national and international level concerts and Events. He has travelled to many countries, such as England, Australia, Singapore and many other countries. He is married to Cricket player Srishanth’s sister and is father of two sons.
From 2000 to 2011 he has been crowned with numerous awards. The first prestigious award he got was the Soma Award for best male playback singer and from then he never looked back. He is an Awardees’ of more than 15 national and international awards which is a sign of great achievement for any artist. The Awards which he got includes Mahatma Gandhi Educational Foundation Award, Kerala state film Award for best male playback singer, Kerala Film Critics Award, Filmfare Award for best Playback Singer, Kalaimamani award for excellence in music, dance, cinema and art conferred by the Tamil nadu state government. In the year 2010 he was awarded with Mirchi Music Award for Best Male Singer for "Pichai Pathiram". In the year 2011 he was greeted with the Gandhi Darshan Award and an International Award too which is “International Malayalam Film Award”.
